Plastic Straws Suck!

Hello

Today we don't need to be using plastics for purposes that other materials can be used for and preferably re-used.

One such item is plastic straws.  It is unbelievable how many of these items are used globally.  Many don't find their way to a refuse site and end up adding to the global horror that we are needlessly inflicting on our planet.

It is estimated that, on average, Americans use 1.6 plastic straws each day. Even though this statistic is thought to be low and calculated in 2011 it still adds up to over 500 million straws per day that end up polluting our environment.

People are increasingly becoming aware of the negative impact that plastic has on our environment. Giving up plastic straws and switching to stainless steel straws is one way that you can actively reduce the amount of plastic entering our landfills and oceans. Every year, 8 million metric tons of plastic end up in our oceans. Buying reusable, easy-to-clean stainless steel straws is an affordable and powerful way to improve the environment and help save marine life.

We have added re-usable stainless steel straws to our site.

Stainless steel drinking straws are constructed to last a lifetime and are a great alternative to plastic straws. They are eco-friendly and can save you money in the long run.

It might be difficult to get used to drinking out of stainless steel straws. If this has been your experience, try using a silicone tip cover to soften the end of the straw and protect your teeth and lips from hot or cold drinks. You can also use the cover to add a pop of colour to your straw.

Stainless steel cleaning brushes make cleaning your straws a breeze. These cleaning brushes are high-quality and built to last.  These are supplied with the stainless steel straws.

Today, we need healthier and more environmentally friendly alternatives to plastic. Plastic and paper fill our landfills and pollute our oceans. And that's where stainless steel drinking straws come in. Not only are stainless steel straws safer than plastic straws, they are:

  • Reusable
  • Durable and Long-Lasting
  • Easy to Clean
  • Safe to Use
  • BPA Free
  • FDA Approved
  • Dishwasher Safe
  • Food-Grade
  • 304 Stainless Steel
  • 18/8 Stainless Steel

Lets join together and say no to plastic straws.

Best wishes

Poppy
